Burindi Station
Set in the hills of the New England Region of New South Wales, Burindi Station is a central component to Paraway’s cattle breeding operations in Northern New South Wales. Purchased in 2008, the 8,380 hectare property breeds pure bred Angus cattle as well as Wagyu cross. The nearby Wiranya property, comprising 2,923 ha, was purchased and added to the operation in 2016.
Burindi is comprised of gently rolling slopes and alluvial river flats that range from open to lightly timbered country. Its pastures are a diverse mix of annual and perennial native and introduced pasture species, with forage crops to cover the winter feed gap. With double frontage to the Manilla River and bordered by Barraba Creek, the property is consistently and effectively watered.
Located only a stone's throw from the town of Barraba and an easy distance from vibrant Tamworth, the staff at Burindi enjoy comfortable on-farm living coupled with convenient access to the wider community.
