Buttabone Irrigation
Buttabone Station was purchased by Paraway in 2010 as an expansion of the company’s Northern New South Wales beef program.
Included in the purchase was a large scale fully developed irrigation property with no irrigation water entitlement. It is used primarily to produce dryland winter crops along with some opportunistic irrigation of summer crops including cotton.
Buttabone irrigation has 5 water storages with a capacity in excess of 9,000 ML and approx. 3,800 ha area developed for irrigation.
